Welcome to Laurel High The School
The event ‘Avalokan’, themed on the Navaras, the nine emotions of humans, was a plethora of elegance, finesse and grandeur. It commenced with the auspicious lamplighting by the Chairman of the school, Shri Hariom Mahajan, Director Jyoti Ma’am, Guest of Honour Mr. Satish Arya, Retd. Professor of English and Dean of Ch. Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani and valued members of the management. The programme commenced with the reverberating School Anthem and an enchanting welcome dance by the skillful students of the Main Branch followed by a soulful Ganesh Vandana and a dazzling Medley Dance by the Montessori Branch Laurelites. The stimulating speech by the Head of School Ms. Urvashi Choudhary vouched for the propitous and promising future of the Laurel High the School students.The harmonic orchestra of the students-musicians band left the audience wonderstruck. The students adorned with alluring costumes and fragrant flowers bloomed in the audience with their sublime Radha-Krishan dance displaying the captivating Shringhaar Ras while the phenomenal Adhbhut Ras act captivated everyone’s heart.
The light-hearted Hasya Ras performance added cheer to the evening while the showcase of the Veer Ras elevated the spirits of the viewers. The fondness for the Bhakti Ras and the common sentiment for Vatsalya Ras overflowed in the audience’ reaction as much as the tenderness reflected on the enactment of the Karun Ras. The intensity of the Vibhatsya Ras enactment evoked strong mental sensation in the viewers and the dynamic act of the Raudra Ras persuaded the audience of the ultimate dominance of the forces of good prevailing over the evil.
The Guest of honour was mesmerized by the performances.
The standing ovation of the audience was a testimony to the magnanimous event verifying that ‘It couldn’t be bigger, It couldn’t be better !
