Welcome to Laurel High The School
"Explore to Learn, Discover to Innovate" – STEM Exhibition at Laurel High School
Laurel High School organized a grand STEM Exhibition on July 18, 2026. Students from Classes VI to XII presented innovative models in Science and Mathematics with the aim of moving from imitation to innovation.
Robotics was the center of attraction. A sensor-based surprise box that dispensed figure of Ganesha as gifts that delighted everyone. The smart efficient city model with RADAR system showed automatic lighting and obstacle detection. A humanoid robot made from bagasse promoted sustainability by introducing itself through sensors. The Geo efficient urban plan model focused on reducing heat and saving energy. Other science exhibits included a hydro-powered rocket, a water purification system, and the atomic structure of components. Students of Classes VI to VIII displayed a working cable car, static models on Earth’s revolution and rotation, a kaleidoscope, a lightning conductor and much more.
In Mathematics, exhibits included static models of exponent and power and Lakshyadeep coordinate geometry, along with a working model of the Golden Gate Suspension Bridge and a static Leaning Tower of Pisa. An interactive stock market simulation game also made maths engaging.
Parents appreciated the creativity. The exhibition inspired students toward practical learning and innovation.
