Examination & Assessment Pattern

Our endeavour at Laurel High is to provide education, which aims at making children responsible, productive and useful members of the society. Therefore, an Assessment Pattern is followed through which the strengths and weaknesses of the learners is revealed. Thus, the learners have a better opportunity to understand and improve themselves. It also provides feedback to the teachers regarding the effectiveness of their teaching methodology.

As per the CBSE norms, the Assessment Structure and Examination Pattern for the respective classes will be as follows:

Till Grade II, Children grow and learn in a stress free environment without the burden of examination. A child’s progress is assessed through oral activities, worksheets and written work on a continuous or regular basis. Blueprints and Springboards follow a Trimester System whereas Classes I and II are assessed in two Terms.
